Sponsorship opportunities are now open for the Port Moresby Nature Park’s flagship Christmas event known as “Christmas In The Park.”

Currently, Port Moresby Nature Park (PMNP) has the only rainforest at the heart of the city. As PNG’s leading recreational space, PMNP aims to create high-quality and meaningful experiences, and the park has the perfect environment for families, friends and couples to enjoy.

As a Charitable Organization under NCDC, PMNP is all about promoting our mission of Biodiversity Conservation, Education and Recreation. Hosting events that the public can enjoy assists the park with generating much-needed revenue to maintain the facilities for 28,000 – 30,000 school kids, 135,000 – 150,000 visitors and the 550 different species of native plants and wildlife.

Christmas in the Park will encourage parents will encourage the public to come out during the festive period to witness and particpate in a series of Christmas-themed activities from December 10th – 25th, 2024, every 9am to 3pm.

By supporting Christmas in the Park, sponsors will help the PMNP to host an amazing event for people to enjoy and help raise funds to support our charitable activities with the park’s acclaimed wildlife and education teams. In 2023, the actual visitor attendance summary was 144,000. 98% of those visitors were local residents living in Port Moresby, foreign residents working in PNG and Papua New Guineans visiting from other parts of the country. The expected visitation target for this event will be 15,000.
