APEC stands for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation and culminated in November with more than 10,000 delegates and world leaders visiting the country.

Our coverage includes a special APEC welcome by the Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, and APEC messages by the APEC Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, and PNG APEC chief executive officer, Christopher Hawkins.

This issue of Paradise is one of the biggest we’ve ever published, and it is also full of travel and lifestyle stories. The bumper issue includes a guide to all 22 provinces in PNG, which lists the best things to see and do, as well as the best places to stay. We believe it is one of the most comprehensive guides ever put together for PNG, with many of the contributions from Papua New Guineans.
