Michael Collins is a partner and leader in the Entrepreneurial and Private Business (EPB) team in PwC Papua New Guinea (PNG) and has over 18 years’ experience advising clients in New Zealand (NZ) and PNG.

Michael has been working with family-owned business leaders in PNG for over 11 years and leading the EPB team at PwC PNG for four years having previously worked in PwC PNG’s corporate tax team for seven years and has been involved across New

Zealand and PNG in providing tax and company secretarial compliance and advisory services, including payroll services and dispute resolution, to a wide variety of local and multinational organisations.

Michael currently works with business owners in PNG to assist them with the complex issues of managing a successful private company and responding to day-to-day challenges, whilst helping them stay focused on achieving their long-term business and personal goals.

Michael has also presented several PwC tax technical trainings and Certified Practising Accountants PNG (CPA PNG) conferences and written several articles relating to various issues impacting Family Businesses and Small and Medium Sized Businesses in PNG.

Outside his role at PwC PNG, Michael has also had a strong involvement with community-based organisations in PNG and NZ, with recent committee roles on both the Port Moresby Kiwi Club Association Inc. and the PNG NZ Business Council Inc.
