BNG Trading Company Ltd held its 100th birthday celebrations on the 23rd of August.

500 people attended the event at the Hilton ballroom, attending from both within PNG and internationally, to celebrate PNG’s oldest continuous merchant trading operation.
As part of the event, BNG set up a model shop front inside the ballroom designed to transport the guests back to 1924. The display was completed with historically accurate products and set dressings, all of which were donated to the PNG National Museum following the event.
BNG Trading Company has grown to become a dynamic, modern business consisting of three main business units. The company supplies over 600 outlets nationwide, including grocers, retailers, wholesalers, food service companies, hotels, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and mining camps.
