The New Zealand government has appointed Peter Hobbs as the country’s Trade Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.

Fiji has appointed Navitalai Tuivuniwai as its new Trade Commissioner, based in Port Moresby.

The ANZ Bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike Smith, says he will step down within a year. He has been with ANZ since 2007.
