New Chief Executive for Advance Cairns
Kevin Byrne has been appointed Chief Executive of Advance Cairns. Byrne has held a number of executive positions in Australia and PNG, including 11 years as Mayor of Cairns. While serving as Chief Executive of the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority, he was also Acting Chairman of the National Airline Commission and Deputy Chairman of Air Niugini. He is a member of both the Australian and PNG Institute of Company Directors. He began his new role on June 6.***
