Nine new vice-Ministers appointed to the NEC, a new director at Bank South Pacific, a new CEO at Nambawan Super, an acting General Manager at RD Tuna Canners, and new General Managers for Fuji Xerox and Remington Technology
The Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has appointed nine vice-ministers, who will be given ‘specific responsibilities’ apart from assisting their line ministers. The nine vice-ministers are Wake Goi, Wesley Raminai, Bari Palma, Win Daki, Johnson Wapunai, Manasseh Makiba, Tomait Kapili, Henry Ame and Joe Koim. Raminai will assist O’Neill as vice-Minister for Sports and APEC. Former Police Minister Robert Atiyafa has been appointed Chairman of the Constitutional and Law Reform Commission.

Bank of South Pacific has appointed Stuart Davis to its board, replacing Dr Ila Temu, who had been on the board for 15 years. Davis was CEO of HSBC India from 2009 until he retired in 2012 and now serves on ASX-listed company NEXTDC Ltd as well as other private and not-for-profit organisations.

Nambawan Super has appointed Paul Sayer as its CEO to replace Gary Tunstall who left last December. Sayer has been CEO of TWU Super, Australia’s largest industry super fund for the transport and logistics sector. He was also Chief Operating Officer of REST Industry super.

Erwin Ordiz has been appointed acting General Manager of RD Tuna Canners, replacing Pete Celso who has retired.

Fuji Xerox has appointed Alan Wilson as its new General Manager.
