Musje Werror, has been appointed as Chairman of the Mineral Resource Authority board, replacing Robin Moaina. Werror is a career mining company executive and is Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Ok Tedi Mining Ltd.

A new board for the Association of Superannuation Funds of Papua New Guinea has been appointed. The Association has been revived after an eight-year absence as the peak body for the superannuation industry in the country. Its office holders are: President–Ian Tarutia, (NASFUND); Vice President–Vere Arava, (Nambawan Super); Treasurer–John Auna (Comrade Trustee Services Ltd); Secretary–Chris Hagan (Aon Master Trust).

The Managing Director of Westpac PNG. Adrian Hughes, is one of two new members of the executive of the Australia-Papua New Guinea Business Council. The Australian airline, Qantas, will also have a representative on the board.
