Indochine Mining has appointed Hugh Thomas as its new chairman following the retirement of Ian W Ross.

Cabinet has confirmed Reuben Kautu as chairman of the board of PNG Data Co. Other members include Mahesh Patel, Chairman of Telikom PNG, and Andrew Johnson, Chairman of Bemobile.

The National Government has appointed Anna Solomon as the acting secretary of the Community Development Department. She replaces Joseph Klapat, who was recently reinstated to the position by the courts, but has since been sacked.
