Westpac appoints a new Managing Director for PNG, a new Vice-Chancellor at the University of Goroka, and PNG woman elected to the International Olympic Committee
Adrian Hughes has been appointed the new Managing Director for Westpac PNG. Hughes ran the company’s international banking operations in Fiji and also led Westpac’s end-to-end banking operations in Fiji.

The University of Goroka Council has appointed Professor Musawe Sinebare as its new Vice-Chancellor.

The Secretary General of the PNG Olympic Committee, Auvita Rapilla, has been elected as a Member of the International Olympic Committee. She is also an Executive Committee member of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), the Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC), and the 2015 Pacific Games Authority.
