The Credit Guarantee Corporation Limited (CGC) experienced, visionary and qualified business leaders with passion for fostering economic growth and supporting MSMEs, to serve on its esteemed Board of Directors to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the entity. These positions are based in Port Moresby.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Review financial statements, budgets and performance metrics to ensure financial stability and accountability.
• Confidentiality and Disclosure: Maintain confidentiality of CGC’s sensitive information, whilst ensuring appropriate disclosure to stakeholders as required by law.
• Exercise Independent Judgement: Must exercise their duties with objectivity, independence, and integrity, taking decisions that are free from any external influence or personal interest

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of senior executive level experience in the financial services industry (Banking Risk and related fields)
• In-depth and extensive understanding of credit risk management and guarantee systems
