A prestigious new Papua New Guinea tourism publication aimed at boosting the country’s tourism sector has been announced by Business Advantage International, publisher of Air Niugini’s Paradise magazine.
The new annual edition of the airline’s popular in-flight magazine, Paradise, will be published in early 2018 with the goal of showcasing the best of PNG travel and culture.
The premium publication will be available in both softcover and a limited edition hardcover collectors’ edition.
‘As part of their ongoing work to develop the Paradise brand, we have authorised Business Advantage International to produce a Paradise-branded annual publication. This will be published at the beginning of 2018 as the airline celebrates its 45 years of service,’ explains Air Niugini Chief executive officer, Simon Foo.
‘The unique new publication will be focused on promoting PNG travel, culture and lifestyle.
‘It will have a wide distribution outside Air Niugini’s aircraft, both within PNG and internationally, including via Air Niugini’s executive lounge and sales office network.’
Offerings
As well as highlighting the diversity of tourism offerings within PNG, the publication will focus on PNG culture and lifestyle, profile all 20 PNG provinces, the National Capital District and Bougainville, and provide a directory of tourism-related businesses.
‘PNG has long-deserved its own international-quality publication to promote its attractions. Now it will have one,’ says Business Advantage International’s Publishing Director Andrew Wilkins.
At least 20,000 copies of the Paradise Annual will be produced, for distribution both inside PNG and internationally.
