Santos Chief Executive Officer, David Knox, has announced he is stepping down once a successor is appointed. Knox, a former BHP executive, has been Santos’ CEO for seven years. Chairman Peter Coates is to assume the role of executive chairman.

Donald Valu has been appointed acting Chief Executive Officer, and Roha Kevau has been appointed Chairman of the Konebada Petroleum Park Authority. Board members include Ralph Saulep (Deputy Chairman), Sisia Morea (board member). Ex-officio members are; Rendle Rimua (Department of Petroleum and Energy Secretary), Dairi Vele (Department of Treasury Secretary), John Andrias (Department of Trade, Commerce and Industry Secretary), Romilly Kila Pat (Department of Lands and Physical Planning Secretary), Hakaua Harry (Department of National Planning and Monitoring Secretary), Leslie Alu (National Capital District Commission city manager), Gei Guni Raga (Central provincial administrator).
